George J. Borjas

George Borjas is a prominent economist renowned internationally for his work on the economic consequences of migration in the United States and on migration policies.

He is a graduate of Columbia University and taught at the University of California - San Diego before joining Harvard University in 1995. Since 2011, he has been Professor of Economics and Social Policy at the John F. Kennedy School of Government.

He will share with us the lessons he has learned from four decades of academic works on the economics of immigration and its complex interrelationship with immigration policy.

The presentations will be held in English; the Questions & Answers session in English and French.
