Pew Research Center has published a new report measuring the size and characteristics of the unauthorized immigrant population in Europe, providing the first comprehensive set of estimates of Europe’s unauthorized immigrants in nearly a decade.
In this session, Dr. Mark Hugo Lopez will present the Center’s new estimates and the demographic composition of this population. The presentation will also include a comparison between the US and Europe, and a discussion of the methods used in developing these new estimates.

Pew Research Center is a nonpartisan American think tank (referring to itself as a "fact tank") based in Washington, D.C. It provides information on social issues, public opinion, and demographic trends shaping the United States and the world. It also conducts public opinion polling, demographic research, media content analysis, and other empirical social science research. The Pew Research Center does not take policy positions, and is a subsidiary of The Pew Charitable Trusts.

The presentation will be held in English and the Questions/Answers session in French and English.
