Reaching nearly 7.5 % growth last year and the IMF forecasting up to 7.3% in 2016, India appears to be untouched by the current crisis affecting the rest of the emerging economies.


Mohan Guruswamy is Director of the Centre for Policy Alternatives in New Delhi. A Harvard graduate, he was the former Secretary to the Indian Ministry of Finance and Advisor to former Indian Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. He is also one of the most influential independent commentators in the Indian media on economic and foreign policy issues.

 

On a European tour, Mohan Guruswamy will share with Club du CEPII his views on the economic and political situation of India.
